HI
This was my first ever atempt at serious poetry, I mean I used to scrible but this time I sat down and wrote seriously. I had tremendous help form my english teacher Miss Nupur Mitra incidently she also taught me Economics and History in school. It was written for my school farewell. She made me read it aloud in the presence of the gathering at the party. I dont know if I made sense or was audible to anyone. Was it a fast quack quack or were my words clear enough for others to hear? here it is

Au Revoiur
Oh School farewell
It hurts me to say so
For here lie the happiest memories
of my childhood
Taking leave of thee is a painful thing
our days of gay abandon, of fun and frolic
but memories so precious, folks so amiable,
Cannot but be forgotten in our lifetime.
but like all good things must come to an end
its inevitable we know!
Honestly I hope, fervently I pray----------To GOD
To bless long life and happiness
To the imparters of knowledge,
To me and my dear friends.
